Reflection of Culture in Old and Modern Artifacts

Both old and modern artifacts represent various aspects of societies at different times. Studies have cleared that modern art employs futurism in creativity where artists can highlight objectives and direction of a culture at a particular time. Unlike modern art, old art is a perfect representation of cultural heritage and pride in a particular society. According to Robinson, (2015) ancient artifacts have been used by various communities as a sign of identity to communicate different messages of a culture. Therefore, both modern and old arts are crucial elements that aid in maintaining cultural practices.
Both old and modern artifacts reflect the culture in different ways. For instance, old objects are highly used by learners to determine primary sources of information of a particular cultural practice. Additionally, modern artifacts are also used by learners as secondary sources of information about a particular culture (Sulivan, N. 2018).
