The main claim of the argument
Evidence shows that the early Greeks had the knowledge about the visual principles of linear perspective. Images were found at Pompeii inspired by early Greek art material showing three-dimensional scenes that were presented in the Greek wall painting (Killan, 2012). Killan (2012) essay is about bringing out Platonic responses due to linear perspective in the visual arts by making the assumption that the Greeks used linear perspective in painting. The article explains how Plato's raises concerns about painting relying on a singular line of sight using an example of Republic x.
