The Model In Ethnomusicology
Ethnomusicology is the study of music in a social context with cultural aspects in it. It combines elements of music theory and history, cultural norms, and also linguistics. So ethnomusicology shows various cultures how they uphold their way of music and the multiple instruments. It shows the beauty of music and how communities maintain their music very much.
So, I researched about the Jarabar culture while my friend found out about the native people. One thing I noticed about these two communities is music is at the center of their daily lives. The Jarabar dominates the planets' coastal city, whereas the native people live on a small planet that is the fifth in that solar system aligned away from the sun. So, these are two communities who believe they practically live in their world and planet.
Interestingly, despite the harsh environment that both the Jarabar and the native people live in, they have managed to develop a deep musical culture that intertwines with their environment and nature.
