Leonardo da Vinci is a legend with profound titles acclaimed to him. Da Vinci was a scientist, an engineer, a designer, a sculptor, a painter, and an artist. Most people know him as an artist. He was born in the village of Vinci, which is a few miles from Florence in 1452. Minimal literature exists on his childhood, but it is at the age of 15 that his father introduced him to Andrea Del Verrocchio, who at the time was a prominent artist in Florence. His master lay the foundation for the Leonardo that we know today because he had an exquisite taste for quality in his designs and more so, articulating the liveliness of the human figure redolent in da Vinci.
