Organizations that embrace CSR have their practices embedded in empowering themselves to act in a socially responsible manner. Apple Inc. is one of the companies that value CSR and ethics, which plays a significant role in maintaining customers by maintaining a name for its business activities.
CSR has both positive and negative impacts on the company. First, Apple's use of CRS and maintaining ethics has played a significant role in the marketing efforts. For instance, apple takes up the responsibility of supplying its products and stands as the world's largest company in terms of revenue, with 1142 suppliers in 49 countries (Dudovskiy, 2021). While implementing CSR, by increasing supplier facilities, an organization manages to market its products to the areas where there are potential customers, thus getting even more customers, those who resonate with the organization's convictions. Through the positive input into society, a company manages to favor potential and existing investors, regulators, and even the customers.
In addition, CSR helps an organization improve the engagement and satisfaction of employees. Each organization would prefer to retain employees for extended periods, and ethical practices and CSR will play a massive role in maintaining them. Apple, for example, ensures that they put enough focus on the health and safety of its employees. The company launched several health clinics (ac wellness) for the employees, covering their families. In addition, it is essential to put significant effort into the labor and human rights of employees. Apple, for instance as the toughest supplier code of conduct in the electronic industry (Dudovskiy, 2021).it is essential that organizations educate their employees on their human rights, as well as learn about the employees work experience to see if any changes need implementations
