Financial education equips one with the necessary skills to help understand the different ways in which financial management is achievable. A person must understand how money works; investing, making more money, guarded use of money, proper prioritizing the use of money and getting rewards for that which money works for. Studying finance is believed to be for the skilled and intelligent (Jastine, Madrian & William, 2012). People taking financial studies must be able to meet conditions and ethical issues defined and required. It involves high levels of transparency. Here are examples of careers that one can land themselves in when they take financial studies. Before landing these jobs, one must go to school and college to learn. What qualifications does one need?
Careers in finance are numerous. They include banking, auditing, finance learning, insurance and public accounting. Different companies may require people with different experiences depending on their departments of need. This case considers two careers; auditing, public accounting.
Auditing involves planning and balancing accounts for a company. The uses to which money goes should balance: the revenues and expenditure. Auditors complete their work by adjusting journal entries and writing reports. These reports will indicate if their uses are well or compromised. Also important to note is that the work of an auditor is independent of any controls of the company (National Association of Personal Financial Advisers (NAPFA), 2016). Their reporting framework will have two major parts of the balance sheets and reports. If money is unaccounted for, they will report that. They can be hired periodically or be officially employed by a company (Jastine, Madrian & William, 2012).
