Maritza had stopped using diapers before the immigration, but now she seems to have a few excretion accidents. Moreover, the child's vocabulary and words are regressing. Lastly, Maritza only depends on her mom, who is currently pregnant and overloaded with household chores.
Several factors hinder the language development and social skills of Maritza. First, the child spends much time with her mother, who lacks confidence in speaking English.
