Spiritual Reflection Paper
My spiritual journey is a form of progressive but difficult endeavor as, since my childhood, I had had a strong interaction with God via my parents; thus, even in my childhood, I was exposed to stage 1 of spirituality involving the recognition of God. Afterward, in my second stage of spirituality, my understanding of God helped me bring about spiritual discipline in my life. My journey to the Stage 4 was associated with questioning, exploring, and expressing doubts; however, I successfully got through this stage. Right now, I am at stage 5 and thoroughly recognize the presence of God and acknowledge His influence in my life. I feel no doubt in admitting that my going through stage 3 of spirituality fills my heart with a sense of spiritual responsibility, and this sense helps me pass stage 4 successfully. I sincerely thank my parents and grandparents for improving my spirituality and helping me understand the divine grace and presence.
Being at stage 5 of spiritual growth, and this stage has enhanced my outward spirituality; therefore, I now care for people’s miseries and spiritual thirst. Moreover, I feel wiser and more focused and can sense spiritual and emotional strength within me; based on my wonderful spiritual experience till stage 5, I aim to continue with my spiritual journey to gain a more in-depth understanding of God’s nature and omnipotence (Hagberg & Guelich, 2011). I also desire to reach the ultimate stage of spirituality characterized by the reflection of God in my deeds and personality. I owe my family for all my spiritual accomplishments and want to make them even more proud by becoming a true disciple of God by using perseverance, sacrifice, and devotion as tools to reach God.
My journey to the wall is the most inspiring as it gave me a deeper understanding of God, His glory, and His benevolence. This awareness enlightened my soul, relieved my soul of worries, and cured my spiritual illness. The wall is where I surrender myself to God and earn His nearness. Finally, I want to settle with my family in a spiritually powerful place for further spiritual development. However, I still feel frightened since I tend to behave and act in a self-deprecating way; nevertheless, the wall made me go through difficult times and still acts as a beacon of spiritual uplift and directs me to the way to God. Therefore, the wall is an emblem of God’s omnipresence and omnipotence and reminds me that no one except God can cure me of my spiritual and physical illness. Thus, I hold great veneration for the wall.
Sharing my spiritual journey with someone I do not know it is a bit hard experience, especially...
