People becoming more educated allows them to examine the components of the human body, and one of the most renowned of them is Leonardo DaVinci's Vitruvian principles. Back then, images of nudity were considered art and a way of expressing oneself. In this essay, the author will compare two very similar paintings and explain why they drew the attention of reviewers.
The author wishes to talk about two paintings: Titian's Venus of Urbino, 1538, and Manet's Olympia, 1863. These two paintings are similar because Manet is supposed to have copied the attitude of the women in the Venus of Urbino. The way the ladies lie on a bed and the posture of their hands are pretty identical, except for the background, which has a distinct quality to it.
We can categorize the Venus of Urbino as renaissance art because of the artist's use of light and color to create a certain mood for the painting, visible in every picture created at the time. The renaissance period's civilizations are well depicted in this and other aspects of the picture. That was the standard back then, and any artist would do the same to gain public attention; it's also an innovative approach because it's what the audience has shown to enjoy.
