After reading Karl Jasper's philosophy of existence, one issue that I find interesting is how, even as the different limits of science become clear, the positive significance of science for philosophy is also deemed to be precise. The first issue described is that, for the first time in a long time, through attaining methodological and critical purification, science has created a possible opportunity for individuals to overcome the confusion between philosophy and science that has always existed (Jaspers 10).
