Social Inequality in Canada as Exposed by Covid-19

The Covid-19 pandemic has had an unprecedented impact on the global social and economic structures. As a result, it has further highlighted the problems of inequality across geopolitical religions and even in developed and inclusive countries like Canada. According to the Canadian government (2021), the burden of Covid-19 is not shared equally among Canadians because some people are more likely to be infected, hospitalized, and die based on their economic and social conditions. Its core principles include “responsibility and human dignity in a just society” (Liberal.ca, 2005). As a result, the party is committed to pursuing equality of opportunity. This means the party, with its progressive agenda and influence, is best placed to address this issue of inequality going into the future.

Implications/Impact of Covid-19 Inequality
