Research is underway to come up with concrete evidence showing that marijuana can be used to manufacture medication that has minimal side effects to the user. People have been using the drug and claim that it gave them various health benefits such as relieving pain.
Thesis Sentence:
Marijuana is considered a harmful drug that can negatively impact the user’s body. Still, it has medicinal benefits such as relieving pain, treating anxiety and depression, and helping in blood sugar control in diabetic patients.

Detail B: people have been using marijuana to reduce pain because it has no side effects. An example is cancer patients who have been consuming marijuana products to relieve the pain associated with chemotherapy. People also use the drug to manage the pain associated with migraines.
