The first technology is prodigy. It denotes a mathematics game that integrates learning and gameplay – it is convenient for grades 1 to 8 students. It provides extensive learning opportunities across various topics ranging from simple arithmetic and intermediate to advanced mathematical concepts such as algebra. Its unique features include engaging visuals, gamification elements, and a flexible engine that changes depending on the learner’s performance. These features motivate students to work with the application. Prodigy works as the learners devise an avatar and start their adventure, where they work on math challenges to beat monsters and finish missions. It gives math problems that relate to the learner’s grade levels and changes the difficulty levels as the learner progresses with the challenges. Prodigy is beneficial. For instance, the adventure included, whereby learners can solve math problems to advance, motivates and engages them in math lessons. It also has unique features; for instance, educators can tailor assignments to align with the desired needs and select topics-based exercises. Besides allowing distinguished instructions, it can also track a learner’s progress. It is a beneficial option since math learners can get immediate results for every problem they solve; they can celebrate successful problem completion or learn from their failure.
