The two articles expound on the importance of confidence interval in the drawing of statistical conclusions. Further, they support the argument that a reliable statistical conclusion based on a sample is essential in making a prediction that is true about the population. 
Step 2: Application of Confidence Interval
Further, there is a proposition for the use of the confidence interval in health science. Additionally, they stress on ensuring the difference in mean scores used are statistically significant; by ensuring that the limits do not include zero, and consequently, they do not overlap. 
Step 3: Reflection of Week 5 Lab
In the previous lab report, a survey was used for purposes of data collection. The exercise involved measuring the heights of ten individuals which gave the values; 177, 156, 157, 163, 167, 165, 178, 166, 183, and 167, all in centimeters. A survey involves the measuring of opinions, characteristics, or observed behavior of a sample within the population. This type of data collection is, however, widely known to exhibit certain faults which typically have a direct influence on the outcome and population (Holmes, Illowsky & Dean, 2017). 
Survey is faulted for being prone to dishonest answers from the respondents, especially because they may lack the motivation to do so. Some questions, for example typically arouse bad feelings, making individuals prefer to not answer them. Asking somebody their height may have given the impression that being short is a negative feature.
