In this assignment, you will complete the Generative Leadership® Questionnaire (Dann, 2020, Appendix), rating each question using the scale provided. The questionnaire will highlight six core elements— opportunities, risk-taking, individual leadership attributes, communication and feedback, and expectations—and seven subthemes—having a voice, commitment, perceived need to act, organizational philosophy and practice, role modeling, shared beliefs and values, and structure. You will use this data to compose an action plan to improve your generative leadership style.
Step 1. Complete
Complete the 39-question Generative Leadership® Questionnaire tool from the Appendix of the Dunn text, Managing and Leading Nonprofit Organizations: A Framework for Success (used with written permission).
Step 2. Analyze
Analyze your findings for each core element and subtheme from the Generative Leadership Questionnaire Scoring Sheet (used with written permission) through the lens of the individual, team, and organizational levels. Look for patterns in the data.
Step 3: Interpret
Interpret your understanding of the scores for each core element and subtheme from an individual, team, and organizational level using the Generative Leadership Capacity at the Three Levels table (used with written permission). Explain any patterns you found in the data.
Note: The instructions for completing the table are on the last page of the Generative Leadership Questionnaire Scoring Sheet.
Step 4. Create
Create a Word document for the action plan. Provide a breakdown of your individual, team, and organizational scores. Include action steps you will take to improve your generative leadership style from an individual, team, and organizational perspective. The action plan will consist of a narrative with charts and graphics where appropriate.
Step 5. Submit
Submit a single APA-formatted document to contain the following:

Conversely, this process is challenging and requires a lot of input from the organization, team, and individuals. Organization, team, and personal levels in any company significantly ensure the company runs smoothly. Trust, risk-taking, opportunities, communication, commitment, and role modeling are some of the integral issues that can cause a downfall or success of an organization; thus, it is essential to incorporate mechanisms to boost them. This analysis reflects measures to boost and maintain stronger, generative leadership.
Initially, assuming responsibilities is an efficient component of effective generative leadership. Assuming responsibilities are essential in lessening the effects of daily problems on the company. Responsible people do not blame others are stay stagnant for things to change but feel accountable for their team (Schroeder, n.d). Additionally, it is essential to develop trust with supervisors. The team should trust a person to handle a given leadership action, while the individual should trust that they can deal with it (Dann, 2022). Showing respect, being confident, and being honest are ways a team individual can grow. Boosting communication and feedback skills is also necessary for improving individual levels. An employee can do this by reducing distractions, leveraging face-to-face communication, and learning to appreciate feedback are vital for better communication and feedback.
To boost the team level, it is necessary to have adaptable personnel. Employees should adapt to external and internal changes to ensure they are not left behind when shifts occur in the organization or the country. On the other hand, team members should value each other's input. The reason for valuing other people's input is that it boosts morale and team cohesion. Supporting the team to be leaders is another step an organization can employ to flourish as it strengthens culture, reassures trust, and fosters the development of leadership skills. Therefore, supporting others at work increases the likelihood of strong leadership skills. Conversely, improving organizational levels to realize more goals is essential. Organizations should trust their employees. Trust boosts creativity, loyalty, and retention (Martic, 2023). Organizational leaders should create an environment of respect and respect boosting morale, thus making the employees feel appreciated.
