In 2000, to streamline their supply chain management system and forecast the market demands in real-time, they adopted the SAP ERP software. However, they felt that they were not getting sufficient data based on the market; thus, they decided to switch the SAP with the i2 information system (Chaturvedi & Gupta, 2005).
