However, the project will face three resource constraints: cost, scope, and time (Barbalho et al. 2017). The goal of the project is to be profitable while also breaking even within a short time. The sponsor also has specific requirements regarding when the project should end, and this means the deadline becomes a constraint. Before the project begins, the sponsor often has a specific expectation regarding the project, such as the budget. It means that the project manager has to work within a limited budget. The scope entails the specific activities which are supposed to be accomplished by the project. For instance, if the scope is to design a new prototype, this also becomes the constraint.
