Rakesh is Verma's son. He is clever because he excels academically, securing him a prestigious profession as medical personnel. His cleverness makes him grow up into a rich and successful doctor. He is also a devoted son who knows never forsakes his family. He balances work and taking care of his aging father (A devoted son, 2022). Rakesh never gives up on his father even when he turns hard to care for.
On the other hand, like his son Rakesh, Verma is an industrious man. He educates Rakesh allowing him to pursue his academic goals in the United States.
