I consider Alfred Neumayr’s work ‘Eronauts’ to be the most outsider piece. The piece reveals some form of living creatures drawn in geographical formation. The creatures seem to be existent in a fantasy world instead of depicting realistic figures, and this shows the artists' ability to express his unconventional ideas and fantasies freely. The uniqueness and rawness of the art are shown in the randomness of the drawing. At first sight, the drawing looks abstract, and it seems hard to define where the artists began drawing. Also, the artist’s style of drawing is difficult to relate to pieces by other artists, because of the incorporation of unusual techniques. This also makes it hard to relate the work to any official art culture; hence, the piece by Neumayr is the most outside.
