OJ Simpson Case Blood Evidence
In the O.J. Simpson case, the prosecution had overwhelming evidence but unreliable witness testimonies regarding the blood evidence. To begin with, the prosecution had evidence of bloody shoe prints that led away from the victims’ bodies, suggesting that the crime perpetrator walked away from the scene. Further, Simpson had a cut on his left middle figure, and the blood in both crime scenes contained his genetic marks. This evidence placed Simpson at the crime scene and suggests that he could have injured his figure during the madders (The Associated Press, 1996). Secondly, the prosecution found hair matching Simpson's in a dark kit cup. Additionally, they found a fiber similar to those in the carpeting of Simpson's vehicle on the cap. This evidence suggests that Simpson could have committed the madder before retreating to his vehicle and fleeing the crime scene.
