The planning that is there in the organization in terms of information security system, is more or less adequate, as of the moment. This is because it comes along with not only the latest measures to handling and preventing system breaches, but also forearms the respective players through which information goes through. The various modes of planning that have been in place over the years at the organization, have come out good in protective the entire organization from security breaches. The strengths of the plans is that they are usually done by competent personnel, with the necessary and relevant technical know-how in matters concerning information security. This acts as an assurerity that everything is fine.
The major challenge however that highlights its weakness, is that it usually takes so long for a new plan to be implemented. This is a serious security scare, since threats always abound on a daily basis (White, 2009). They might even be more dynamic, more sophisticated and even more dangerous to the organization’s system. It calls for regular system updates, a session in which the organization tends to drag.
The transport layer of the Open Systems Interconnection(OSI) model usually ensures that there is a seamless or flawless transfer of messages from one end to the other, by checking for any errors or impediments to data flow(Kozierok,2005).It does the sequencing to ensure that the scattered data being transmitted over a network is reorganized and aligned accordingly. It also breaks down the information into smaller data packets for it to be transmitted smoothly and quickly over the network (Lowe, 2013).Finally, it plays a role in multitasking by facilitating the process of multiplexing for other layers of the OSI...
