Eugenics was derived in the 19th century and was incorporated with social Darwinism. Typically, Darwinism was developed to help people develop survival techniques (Orr, 2009). Notably, the natural selection theory was developed by combining Charles Darwin's and Francis Galton's concepts on survival. The original idea of these ideas was to help humankind have a better means of living. However, it was until World War II when that Darwin's theories were turned to weapons. The original ideas were not flawed. However, capitalism changed the entire narrative and made natural selection ideas disastrous. Firstly, it led to DNA mutilations which led to a paradigm shift.
Darwinism was introduced to solve humankind's problems, but it later became a revolution factor in biological sciences (Rogers, 2009).
