The World Health Organization has classified HPO axis malfunction that leads to ovulation abnormalities into three groups. This failure is characterized by hypogonadotropic hypogonadism in Group I ovulation disorders (Osuka et al., 2019). A eugonadal condition is seen in Group II diseases, which are widespread varieties of endocrinopathy. Finally, group III refers to hypogonadotropic hypogonadism caused by ovarian dysfunction. A detailed study specific to each patient is required for optimal assessment and therapy of these illnesses (Abinaya et al., 2019). The pathophysiologic causes, assessment criteria, and current therapeutic options for ovulation problems are discussed in this article. The ovary is essential for follicular growth and oocyte maturation because it produces the steroid hormones required for these processes. Women with PCOS have a hormone imbalance that interferes with the release of eggs during ovulation.
