A few weeks ago, a patient was in a lot of pain and anxiety. He does not allow anyone to be touched. The patient was continuously complaining about pain and distress. I reviewed the chart of the patient and arranged a meeting with the attending physician to discuss the current condition of the patient. It is observed that the treatment of the patient is going well. The medication is provided on time. The mood of the patient is getting intense because of illness (Cullati et al., 2017). It is quite challenging to handle the patient as he is in extreme annoyance. The core values that are challenged in the experience include patience and compassionate attitude. As a professional nurse, it is essential to remain calm with the patient. The attitude of the patient fluctuates because of severe health issues.
