Nurses hold significant responsibilities in society. In particular, the nursing practice is regulated by various organizations that specify the certification, the scope of practice, and licensure requirements. One of the renowned regulatory bodies is the American Nurses Association (ANA). ANA is one of the largest nursing organizations, with over four million registered nurses (American Nurses Association, 2021).
