The article aims to show how caregivers can deal with difficulties that hinder harmonized care. Many clinics rely on teamwork efforts to convey safe and quality care. However, the emergence of COVID-19 exposed the susceptibility in care models in numerous hospitals. Nurses had to balance different duties and a large number of sick individuals. In addition, many health institutions experience workforce scarcity due to workers' burnout and leaders' fluctuating staff roles. This study is essential to nursing because it suggests approaches hospitals and caregivers can adopt to optimize teamwork and promote coordinated care. Nurses should develop a sense of belonging and mental safety. Furthermore, caregivers working in a team should ensure accountability by defining everyone's duty. Nurses should be able to explain and educate patients and their families about an ailment. Lastly, institutions should foster communication, reinforce caregivers with tools for collecting data and promote systems that encourage sharing expertise and information across teams.
Psychological safety and a sense of belonging enable nurses to ask questions, report on a patient's progress, ensure patient safety, present worries, and understand challenging opinions. All the above factors promote quality care for patients because caregivers closely monitor them. Accountability and teamwork enable nurses to delegate duties effectively and tackle people's issues before they reach a severe state.
