There are varied health disparities associated with race and skin color. According to CDC, 2020 (centers for disease control and prevention), Hispanic/ Latino people have a lower death rate than African-American people. Death rates in these communities are determined by age and weight; for instance, blacks are prone to hypertension compared to Latino people. In this case, black people have more than 505 on hypertension compared to Hispanic with 20%. Notably, hypertension is embedded in other diseases such as obesity and diabetes (Sofia, 2020). The black community has more health issues than Hispanic communities; CDC released a report showing that Black people have high cases of obesity, which led to diabetes.
