The health policymaking process refers to the approach to initiating, designing or defining, arranging, imparting, implementing, and evaluating policies. The implementation phase of policymaking is the most downplayed of all and is frequently conceived as distinct from the first two stages. Implementation is vital in policymaking because when strategies are executed, changed, or redirected at this particular phase, something ostensibly turns out poorly at that specific point, and the strategy outcomes are not as initially anticipated (Azline et al., 2018). Implementing a new health policy requires more than simply designing a combination of protocols and procedures or offering policy document instructions. Effective implementation of health policy demands the integration of distinct actions of diverse stakeholders while recognizing why and how individuals' behaviors congruently reinforce the actions in question. The project manager or stakeholders also face challenges during the implementation phase, mainly because implementation responsibility rests on individuals other than those that created the policy (Campos & Reich, 2019).
