Compliance Program: Employee Communication Channels

Coursework Instructions:

Employee Communication Channels
An employee in your office sends an email to the Human Resources Department regarding a potential compliance violation recently committed by another employee. The employee reporting the violation is especially concerned about anonymity and the confidentiality of the email and its contents. She would like to know how the situation will be handled, whether or not she will be exposed as a whistleblower, and what will happen to the employee in question. As a company compliance official, you’re tasked with replying to the employee and handling the investigation into the matter. Create a 2-page outline, describe the policy regarding confidentiality in reporting misconduct, what steps may be taken in an investigation, and the possible corrective actions that may be appropriate for proven noncompliance. Then, in a 2-page response to the email, explain these matters to the employee. (A 4-page response is required.)

In most case, it is reported through the website or public review and other design report key that does not need any identity. Nonetheless, such approaches sensually take along to be reviewed.
Treatment and retention of reports and complaints
The compliance officer has a big role in receiving and recording concerns or complaints. Each supervisor under the compliance officer is expected to record the complaint.
