The student should understand the meaning of a character, it's setting, and the critical events in this story.
The student should know the characters, the different settings, and the occurrences in the story.
The student should be able to restate the story according to what happened, the characters, and their location.

Summary of Learning Activities

 The teacher is supposed to read a story of “The three little pigs” to the students.
The teacher should then give these scholars illustrations of this book.
The teacher will then ask open-ended questions to help understand their prior acquaintance.
The students will employ visual tools such as illustrations and videos about what they have learned and recreate a new story by employing a short play.

Questions that Promote Active Engagement

 One of the questions that promote active engagement is asking the scholars how they feel after reading the text.
The next question is asking them if they feel it is important.
The last question is asking them whether they feel interested in rereading it.

One of the questions is which special memories have the story triggered.

The next question is whether the story relates to how they relate with the people in the society.

The student should also have the ability to apply the ending punctuation correctly.

 The teacher should read the “Henry and Mudge” journal prompt with the students.
