The rise of hard drugs like marijuana and cocaine has thrown most youths into a mess of drug addiction. It is a problem that prompts for the establishment and improved rehabilitation to save youths from dying of drug abuse. The marketing objectives are;

* To incorporate technology in tracing drug addicts in society

* To use technology as a therapy for the patients by specifically using talking robots to guide and counsel patients

* To investigate the role technology advancement plays in promoting drug abuse

Industry Analysis

The world has experienced an increased number of youths in rehabilitation centers (Singh, Zhang, Kuo & Sharma, 2016). There is a need to improve ways of handling the addicts and help them recover; the increasing numbers prompt the use of cost-efficient but effective means like invoking robots for therapy and using technology to track drug use among the users. Governments will have no problem in approving the use of technology because it cuts down the cost. China is already using robots in some rehabilitation; some cities like the southern Chinese city of Guangzhou (("China's Guangzhou employs a robot to rehab drug addicts - Xinhua | English.news.cn," 2020).

Target Markets

This initiative will target mostly the youths between the ages of 18 and 40 years. This is the group that is mainly affected by drug abuse. It is also the group that is most excited by new technology. It is why the use of technology is likely to work better for the rehabilitation of the patients.
