Managing a restaurant can be a challenging task without a POS system in place in the digital era. For instance, waiters and waitresses can use handheld devices, such as tablets to collect customer food orders. The orders entered on the workstation are sent to the kitchen so that chefs can prepare the respective meals. Apart from better inventory management, a POS system facilitates simple invoicing and faster payments.
