The firm lost billions of dollars in shareholder value (Behi, 1995). The firm was then fined $55 billion in Mexico, and executives were sentenced to jail sentences. BP is only one of several companies that have made unethical decisions in the past. Uber scandal in 2019 and the Apple scandal in 2017 have all been involved in corrupt practices. These incidents have reignited discussion about the role of schools in influencing CEOs' Ethical Decision Making.

Identifying ethical concerns in the business and marketing areas requires a keen eye and a thorough grasp of various topics.
