Unfortunately, major ethical blunders continue to attract public attention to the scope and effect of corporate wrongdoing—for example, the Deepwater Horizon spill in 2010 by BP firm. The firm lost billions of dollars in shareholder value (Behi, 1995). The firm was then fined $55 billion in Mexico, and executives were sentenced to jail sentences. BP is only one of several companies that have made unethical decisions in the past. Uber scandal in 2019 and the Apple scandal in 2017 have all been involved in corrupt practices. These incidents have reignited discussion about the role of schools in influencing CEOs' Ethical Decision Making.
