The important points from the article: The COVID-19 pandemic significantly contributed to organizations implementing teleworking or working remotely so that they can limit physical interactions to decrease the infection rate (Bergeaud et al., 2023). In that light, companies closed down their physical offices to keep their employees safe. After the coronavirus pandemic, a significant percentage of firms were obliged to reduce their office space since they could not be able to pay bills. Most importantly, their operations continue smoothly due to teleworking, where employees can work from home.
