Muybridge's Horse in Motion and its Relevant to History
Muybridge's horse motion was established by Eadweard Muybridge, who had a love for animals forcing him to develop a photograph of galloping horses that depicted the movement of horses. The Muybridge's Horse motion consists of twelve different pictures arranged within four rows. The rider and horse are centered but in a slightly varied posture, with the lines and figures behind the subject revealing their horizontal movement across the backdrop (Sarah, 2015, p.14). The photograph of the horses consists of a text below it describing the measurements of the sequence; the photograph's negatives indicate intervals of around twenty-five inches apart and a distance of twenty -which reveals the horse's stride.
