Case study question. Management Case Study Assignment (Case Study Sample)
Based on the provided case, answer and discuss the following:
1. List and discuss the causes of failure of Target in Canada.
2. Imagine you are a strategic adviser who has long been working for several companies. A businessman has contacted you seeking advice on his new business project of launching a new supermarket in Kuwait. What are the best pieces of advice would you like to give him to succeed in this new business?
The company lacked a proper strategic action to launch its operations in Canada. First, they did not plan by studying the market. Most firms succeed after they evaluate their target markets, find the best ways to expand into new areas, and launch their services. The right business leaders and CEOs always aid these. Target, in this case, did not study the market, never worked on their plan, and was operating in a blind market.
