Situation Analysis
Le Rebelle Hotel-Casino is located in a place that is popular with Casino players. However, the Casino was adversely affected by the economic downturn. As a result, the company was discounting rooms, floor traffic had hit bottom low, and retrenchment was ongoing. Besides, the Le Rebelle Hotel has gone through four years of declining slot win. Based on the case scenario, the General Manager is asked to develop a solution to restore the declining slot win.
Problem Statement
At Le Rebelle, slots accounted for 20x6, representing 19.72% of the total revenue. The Casino, hit by a prolonged period of declining revenue, now wishes to devise a strategy geared towards raising revenue. After four consecutive years of loss-making and declining slot revenue, the management requires that Carrington provide ideas for restoring the Casino to profitability.

Problem Statement
Convert a section of LeRebelle Casino into short banks and pod. Also, consider how to convert part of the Casino floor into Chevron configurations and start tracking the game-winning results for a specific fixed period.
Recommended Slot Floor Configuration
To increase slot win, the following configuration is recommended:
1 Players chose to play in-game pods as opposed to game banks (Exhibit 9)
2 Players in group configuration preferred gaming in adjacent structure (p.39)
3 The Bennett, 90 day experiment, should have been prolonged for better results
4 It is unwise to convert the entire Casino floor into 100% pods. It is better to be conservative and only convert a section of the floor.
