A beautiful mind is an American movie based on the life of John Nash. Ron Howard directed the life history film. Other actors in the movie include Christopher Plummer, Ed Harris, Adam Goldberg, Judd Hirsh, Antony Rapp, Paul Bettany, Jenifer Connelly, Russell Crowe, and Josh Lucas. As the leading actor in the film, John Nash develops his schizophrenic conditions at the movie's start. He becomes delusional in various scenes and is illustrated in a painful situation, which bothers his wife Alicia, who is pregnant, as Nash starts to experience schizophrenia (Beautiful Mind, 2001). The film illustrates the life of an individual who had ambitions in serving humanity. He discovered his conditions immediately after quitting his professional life as a mathematician. He, however, began experiencing frightening delusions that obstructed his path. Nash plays the role of Russell Crowe, a figure with fantastic behavioral qualities. The role portrays a man who almost lost his mind but later recovered and resumed his normal condition.
Ron Howard utilizes the sensational features to illustrate the positive side of Nash. He inspired and encouraged other characters, such as Nash's wife, Alicia. For instance, he conducts an insulin shock therapy that causes pain to the patients while on the system. Later, the psychiatrist recommended medication that helped improve Nash's performance. However, the medication was not a permanent solution since the character could change his behavior for a specified time and later resume delusions.
