Hello,
I agree with the medication recommendations for the three patients; Sahid, Jabari, and Kevonne. The 12-year-old boy Sahid with good health and no reported allergies, is reported to have an itch from a mosquito bite. Suggesting that the nurse should recommend calamine lotion and a moisturizer without fragrance is a good point. Calamine is used for numbing the skin from the feelings of itchiness and pain. This will help Sahid sleep better at night and perform well during the day. An ice pack is also an excellent recommendation for the swelling. Corticosteroid cream will also allow Sahid to be more comfortable as his skin heals as it will reduce redness and itching. Since Sahid does not report a severe allergic reaction to the mosquito bite, I recommend oral antihistamines or tablet for this case.
Jabary, who is a 14-year-old, comes with a runny nose and itchy eyes. He takes Claritin for seasonal allergy when affected. Jabary does not need a change of me...
