Case Study Instructions:

International Sports Science Association (ISSA)
This paper is for Corrective Exercise Specialist course.
Design a one-week corrective exercise program for a friend or client. Your program must include the following:
Have your client fill out the Lower Extremity Functional Index and the Upper Extremity Functional Index (click the links to download a pdf version of each document). Summarize what the results tell you about your client.
Conduct an Upper Body Multi-Joint Movement Assessment and a Lower Body Multi-Joint Movement Assessment on your client. Summarize your findings and how these findings influenced your program design.
A detailed one-week corrective exercise program including specific exercises/drills/stretches, sets, and repetitions. Use charts to illustrate the program.
A comprehensive analysis of your program outlining how your prescriptions meet the needs of the client.

Corrective Exercise Program
The program is based on a client who voluntarily filled different forms, including the Upper and lower extremity index. Lower and upper extremity functional indexes are essential since they determine the client's stability. It is also necessary to allow the client to focus on better strategies to ensure a stable life process. It is also essential to ensure that the client adheres to different rules and regulations, such as providing reliable information to limit future challenges or issues. For instance, the lower extremity functional scale is essential since it measures the client outcome based on the physical exercises. It also utilizes functional goals and the clients' ability to perform daily tasks (Dingemans et al., 2017). The provided forms are necessary since they would determine the client's ability to sustain regular exercise. The paper focuses on a one-week corrective program to physically fit the client, focusing on appropriate and easily manageable intervention.
Summary of Lower and Upper Extremity Functional Index
Based on the lower extremity functional index, the score recorded was 43/80. The identified index is crucial since it majorly focuses on the low limb. It allows one to understand the capacity of the lower body successfully. Therefore, it is easy to shape the corrective program based on the client's activities with the total score from the index. The client majorly experienced extreme difficulties while performing squats, lifting objects, heavy activities, and sharp and making sharp turns. Therefore, the corrective program must be based on the identified elements. The client had minimal difficulty in other areas, such as taking a bath, putting on shoes, and walking. Minimal assistance will be directed towards such areas. Therefore, it is essential to justify that the corrective program must be thorough since the score is extremely low, showing that the client has more problems with lower limbs.
On the other hand, the upper extremity functional index indicated a score of 49/80, which also shows extreme difficulties with the upper body part. The upper extremity functional index is critical since it determines the client's capacity to participate in specific activities such as lifting heavy weights and overhead shoulder press (McKean & Burkett, 2015). Based on the summary, it is justifiable that the client needs a reliable corrective program to recover from possible challenges in exercising adequately. The major areas in which the client must focus include upward exercises such as placing the object overhead and carrying suitcases above the head. It means that the client's upper body is a bit stable, and the client needs minor adjustments from the program that would stabilize the affected limbs. A score of 49 is not extreme and requires specific adjustment to ensure stability. Therefore, my client should focus on the upper and lower part to minimize possible challenges.
Summary of Upper and Lower Body Multi-Joint Movement Assessment
