Prevention is Primary - Case study

Case Study Instructions:

Hi there:
This is a case study assignment. The case study must use BRIO framework that I uploaded. What’s more, the paper has to show evidence “your mastery of the course readings and all related materials”, which means you need to make connection with the TWO textbooks that I uploaded.
Here is the name of two textbook:
Cohen-Prevention is primary. New York: Wiley, 2010. (2nd edit)
Goldstein and R. Brooks-Handbook of resilience in children. New York: Springer, 2013 (2nd edit)
Course description:
This course examines evidenced informed efforts to prevent problems that place children and youth at risk. Focus will be on understanding the role of challenges and resources in developing individual and group (family) adaptive potential (resilience). Coverage includes interventions that effectively deal with health, social, and educational issues impacting wellness, well-being and life chances. The role of social determinants in mental health and chronic illness will be scrutinized.
This case study requires us to find a prevention program that focus on children and youth. And the levels of prevention should be primary or secondary prevention.
***Note:
1. There are three levels of prevention: improving the overall health of the population (primary prevention)
2. improving (secondary prevention)
3. improving treatment and recovery (tertiary prevention).
So I found this prevention program, https://www(dot)childhelp(dot)org/childhelp-approach/?a=prevention-programs It is called “Childhelp”, which is a program that prevent child abuse by providing children in different age curriculum to enhance their safety awareness.
When you click the above link, you will see “our solution” button, and there is “prevention program”, which is called “Childhelp Speak Up Be Safe”. Please mainly focus on this program, introduce and evaluate it. However, our textbook also emphasizes the interaction and importance that how individual (children), families, community, society, government, and society work together to contribute to the prevention. So please review this program and mention how it works from above dimensions. I checked the website, Under “our solution” button,” there is a “intervention program” which talk about advocacy in community and partnership with others, please mention a liitle bit about intervention program of Childhelp in the end.
***Important Note: In order to get more information about the program, the prof requires us that case study should include at least one key informant that really knows the programs you are analyzing, which means we need to do an online interview with them; however, the website does not provide contact information, but fortunately, I think the website provides specific and elaborate information of their program, even though the result. You can easily find it under https://www(dot)childhelp(dot)org/subs/childhelp-speak-up-be-safe/ , you can click the “evaluation and result”button to see the result in PDF version. This requires you to “made up “some conversation (interview)format in the paper. You do not need to word to word literally list the sentence, just cite it as “personal communication” in APA format. Or if you can find the contact information you can mail them the questions…
Please see the question example from the word document that I uploaded. The questions also evaluate criterias.
Paper structure:
Please stick to the BRIO framework that I uploaded.
I have uploaded 1. BRIO framework (must follow this framework)
2. BRIo evaluation framework (must follow this framework)
3. Casing Exemplary Prevention Programs
4. two case study example
5. lecture and case study phrase (give u general idea about prevention and case study phrases)
6. two textbook
***Notes, please also find peer-reviewed journal article and empirical article to support this paper, especially on the introduction part, firstly address why children abuse matters by using literature review and textbook, then address why prevention is important by using literature review and textbook.
Introduction and background is important since it is_Contextual part, the conext and history must be addressed.
Note: Brio framework is kind of complicated, please go though it before writing.

Introduction
An Estimated 6.6 million child abuse incidences are reported to child protection agencies annually, out of which 3.6 million are referrals of abuse victims. Among the industrialized nations, the U.S. reports the highest child abuse and neglect statistics, with 4 to 7 deaths reported daily. Annual referrals of abuse victims have surpassed the 6.6% mark, with close to 3.2 million victims facing a possible investigation. Child abuse agencies reported over 702,000 child abuse cases in 2014(Guastaferro et al., 2019).
Numerous studies suggest that child abuse prevention should comprise school-based preventive programs. Over 85% of the United States elementary schools offering child abuse prevention programs, even though their efficacy remains unknown (Pulido et al., 2015). Sexual abuse prevention requires that a child acquire knowledge that would inform behavioral change. One study showed that first and second graders surveyed after participating in a 45-minute workshop exhibited increased knowledge regarding inappropriate touch (Bustamante et al., 2019). Primary prevention is therefore essential for creating awareness and should thus be incorporated in a socio-ecological approach. Besides, longitudinal studies were used to study the effect of child abuse prevention programs in schools, families, public health, and learning institutions (Pulido et al., 2015).
According to Guastaferro et al. (2019), prevention efforts have been curtailed by a lack of knowledge about child abuse and mistreatment. Children who have suffered sexual abuse have suffered in the hands of the caregivers and people they trust. Children who suffered emotional abuse exhibit qualities such as speech impairment, delayed speech, parental detachment, persistent somatic complaints, eating disorders, depression and could also exhibit suicidal tendencies (Bustamante et al., 2019). Research has shown that children are more likely to suffer neglect than any other type of abuse. When they do, they exhibit behavioral changes that vary depending on the type of abuse. These attributes may include medical issues, lousy hygiene, learning impairment, and deprived supervision. While in school, child abuse victims, the behavioral consequences of abuse are most likely to impact learning outcomes. Still, some are likely to exhibit indiscipline, attention deficit, high temper, and poor peer relationships (Peterson et al., 2018).
In the United States, The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (O.J.J.D.P.) is the government arm legally mandated to prevent child abuse and maltreatment while mitigating its adverse effect through mutual partnerships and multi-stakeholder collaboration (Childhelp, 2021). The agency uses tailored programs, training and offers technical assistance to partner organizations. According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (H.H.S.), an estimated 3.5 million suffered at least one form of abuse in 2018 alone. A total of 1779 deaths were linked to child abuse and neglect...
