Malala Yousafzai is a source of inspiration for me.
a. What was the challenge (it does not necessarily have to relate to a communication project in an organization)?
Malala had a difficult childhood filled with uncertainty. She was determined to go to school, despite the Taliban’s refusal to allow girls to school. When the Taliban seized control over her town in 2008, the fundamentalists banned girls from attending school.
b. What did this person say or do?
Despite the Taliban’s ban on girl education, Malala became an activist, advocating for Pakistani girls and their education rights. She continued schooling while aware of the danger.
c. What happened afterward?
Malala’s activism made her a target of the fundamentalists. In 2012, a masked gunman shot her in the head while returning from school. Luckily, Malala survived and moved with her family to the UK, where she esta...
