This journal is just a part of this "big project". You don't need to watch the whole season. You can choose one from 30 Rock, Parks & Recreation, Superstore, The Office, and just watch a few episodes and answer these questions.

This is your official “big project,” in which you will utilize NBC’s Peacock Streaming service https://www(dot)peacocktv(dot)com The service is free for a basic membership, which is what you will need. It only requires using an email and creating a password (feel free to create a temp email, if preferred). You will choose 1 complete season of one of the following shows:
30 Rock
Parks & Recreation
Superstore
The Office
You will watch the season from the perspective of an outside observer/management consultant who has been brought in to do an analysis of the organizational workplace communication and processes (i.e. employee dissent, morale, internal communication, collaboration, leadership, etc…etc…) You will provide a deliverable/report of the quality expected from a consultant to a client. This is not a review or narrative essay rehashing “what happened” during the season. You will approach this as a real organization, with real employees and real issues.
You will be expected to integrate well-cited and clearly explicated organizational theories into your analysis as well as clear examples of success/failures from your observations in order to justify your recommendations for improvement or affirmation of areas of competence.

I have watched seven episodes of the first season of 30 Rock so far. 
2.What are some initial themes, issues, etc., that you see?
I have noticed several recurring themes and issues in all the episodes that I have watched. They include racial stereotypes, male chauvinism, feminism, vulgarity, sexuality, indecent exposure, and dark humor. 
3.What are some themes, issues, etc., that you feel should be present but are not at this point?
I feel that the show should have explored various issues affecting society, such as racism, equality, and inclusivity at the workplace, and addressed misconceptions and stereotypes associated with different races. I know the show is a comedy solely to make people laugh. However, many prior comedies are generally clean and strive to address many issues affecting society.
Consultancy Report of 30 Rock Workplace Culture
The primary purpose of this consultancy exercise was to observe and analyze the organizational culture of 30 Rock and then come up with a report. The general finding of this exercise is that the organizational culture is a hybrid of adhocracy and clan culture. Adhocracy is a culture that is dynamic, creative, and entrepreneurial (Gardner, 2021). A clan culture is people-oriented, friendly, and collaborative (Gardner, 2021). Such a hybrid benefits 30 Rock since it is an entertainment company that requires creativity and collaborative effort. However, the research also revealed deep-seated issues and practices; though petty and frivolous to most 30 Rock employees, they are very offensive to an on-looker or an outside party.
First, the research revealed a highly sexualized culture. From vulgar language and sexually-suggestive jokes to indecent exposure and body revealing attires, 30 Rock is an organization that does not have reservations about the type of language that befits a company of its reputation. In addition, it lacks standard formal dress codes that every employee must wear in the office, so people have uninhibited freedom to dress however they want. Second, there was the prevalence of racial prejudice and stereotypes masked in humor and subtle references.
