NFC Project: Giving the Government Control and Influence to the Market

1. The new frame contracts would choose to get more contracts from more parties in order to discourage large companies from monopolizing goods. If larger contracts would be granted to the bigger companies, they would dominate the market and have a high degree of control on prices and mode of trade. The “new frame” that is being pertained to is the encouragement of more suppliers, and thus more competition within the market. With smaller contracts from small companies, the competition will make it so that companies are more likely to improve their product, have better and just prices, and create conducive services for the needs of their customers. The lawmakers are trying to eradicate monopoly, wherein only the biggest companies have a large influence and decision making power in the market. What they want to do is to create Pure Competition, which has a large number of sellers, giving a variety of brands that the customers can choose from.
2. The Original NFC Project intended it so that the government has some degree of control and influence on the market. Through the NFC, the government can instill and regulate suggested retail prices and cost of various goods. Sellers had a need to compare their products and services with the standards of the NFC. This type of competition is called monopolistic competition, wherein the monopolistic control is provided by a standardized national frame. This creates a just regulation of goods, which can cater to the needs and demands of the public sector. 3.
