The brand is related to state of art images of luxury such as shoes, jewelry, leather goods, watches and handbags among others. The company was founded back in 1950s and to date, the brand remains at the top of the industry. Since the introduction of the Vuitton’s signature, the company has continued to expand throughout the twentieth century venturing into the fashion world. Several factorshave contributed to the growth of the brand.The following factors as described herein have contributed to the growth of the brand,merging of the company with other top brands,the wide range of products,marketing, and the quality of products among others. One of the major contributors to the growth of the Louis Vuitton (LV) is merging. A few years after the foundation of the brand, Louis merged with the top champagne manufacturers. Louis together with Chandon and Hennessey formed the LVMH, which would mean; Moet Hennessey and Louis Vuitton. The result was a luxury goods conglomerate.(Chaudhry, Zimmerman, 2009). The other contributing factor was the quality of products. The brand ventures into quality products in order to maintain the luxury aspect of the brand. The company has greatly invested in quality of the products in that designers use amalgamation of art, accuracy and the artisanship to produce state of art products. This has led to the brand gaining stability and trust in the market hence the growth of the brand. Additionally, the wide range of products bearing the company’s brand has contributed to its growth. The products range from shoes, handbags, watches, leather products and sunglasses among others.
