Industry professionals see AI writers like ChatGPT as a valuable tool for increasing efficiency and productivity. Artificial intelligence (AI) applications in education are expanding and have drawn a lot of interest in recent years (Zawacki-Richter et al., 2019, p. 1). AI writers can be used to generate content quickly and accurately, allowing businesses to focus on other tasks. AI writers can help streamline the content production process, saving time and money. AI writers can also help enterprises create more engaging and relevant content for their target audience. AI writers can also analyze data and generate insights, allowing businesses to make more informed decisions. In addition, AI writers can automatically create reports or summaries, helping companies to save time and resources.
A survey was conducted to examine how industry and academia professionals perceive using AI writers like ChatGPT. The questionnaire combined TAM (Technology Acceptance Model) and NCGAS (New Computer Game Attitude Scale). TAM is a widely used framework that aids to evaluate and forecast how users will respond to technology (Alfadda & Mahdi, 2021, p. 886). It is built around the idea that points of view of technology are influenced by how useful and simple they believe it to be. Perceived Usefulness (PU) and perceived ease of use (PEOU) are its two basic parts. PU measures an individual's level of optimism that using technology will enable them to accomplish their objectives. It refers to how much a person thinks employing technology would increase their effectiveness, satisfaction, or productivity. The PEOU measures how much a person thinks utilizing technology will be effortless. It is the degree to which a person thinks utilizing technology will be simple or hassle-free. Several scholars have used TAM as a reference because of its simplicity (Malatji et al., 2020, p. 115).
