The article clearly indicates who are the primary and secondary audiences; since their paper highlights the importance of infant-father attachment, then I agree that the information contained in this paper is more appropriate to individuals expected to become fathers. Additionally, I agree that there are different ways through which a father can establish an attachment with the child; these include nurturing and providing physical care. It is true that some appropriate programs, such as the Boot Camp for New Dads, may help to instill features and skills that fathers need to develop a strong bond with their children. It is, however, important to discuss some of the activities that fathers can engage in that can compromise and weaken the bond between them and their children.
