The main arguments from Jesse Jackson include leadership, strive to ensure all Americans access the basic needs and humanity. The political voice argues that the issues affecting America are as a result of poor leadership and that good governance and leadership could remove America from the crisis. Jesse Jackson also believes that community should enhance humanity so as to bring civility among citizens. Economic prosperity is another main argument presented by Jesse with an argument against Ronald Reagan’s idea of nation recovery. The truth of the matter was that the country was ailing from interest rates high and inflation. Jesse’s argument is that dynamic recovery will occur if unemployment is curbed by exercises such as empowerment in slums. The political voice of Reagan Ronal argues similarly to Jesse adding that dynamic recovery is the surest means of putting inflation to an end by reducing living cost. The difference between the two voices is that Jesse blames Reagan’s administration for using Federal monetary funds to induce unemployment instead of using other means. The two voices, however, agrees on one aspect, bringing peace to America since the nation danger index was rising.
The political voice of Jimmy Carter argues that the mode of governance that fits America is the one that addresses the energy crisis, nation economy, war issues and environmental conservation and security.
