The years of 1920 to 1936 contains a lot of noticeable events contrast in the United States. The events that occurred during these years stimulated to today modern United States civilization and democracy. During the year of 1920s is when most Americans started believing that the only way to move ahead very fast and efficiently is by developing some policies such as isolation. Americans rejected all existing ties with other world countries in order to concentrate on their own. The United State had previously withheld all the relationship content and required legal forms with other nations in the world. These lead to a gradual fail in the discontent of Americans relation with other Americans in the United State. Due to success over the years oneconomic, political and social life, they were sure of a bright future compared to other nations. United States had developed learning institutions and nationalism had been developed much ahead of other nations (Arthur M. Schlesinger, 1957).
By 1930 over half of the population of the United States citizens lived in the cities, the growth of the cities as from 1920 was as by the contribution of better education institutions and peace in the country after some great revolutions and civil wars. After the Civil War, the United States amended its institutions, which saw it produce elite candidates to the market. The expansion of the railway after the wars eased movement of people from place to place. Other developed on industries such as meat industry, building industry and farming made city life cheap for those who dwelled in them.
