Research critique is an analysis process of evaluating the strengths and limitations of research conducted on a particular topic. The critiquing process involves the evaluation of methods, research questions, and results of the research conducted. The primary objective of critique is to examine the authenticity of the findings in the research conducted. Several items will be evaluated in the research article, for example, research question, methodology, discussion, and results. These are critical components in research, and they determine the viability of the overall research. The objective of this paper is to critique the "lived experiences of surviving in-hospital cardiac arrest." It will also evaluate the integrity of the overall work in the research article.

The article used an effective sampling strategy to demonstrate the authenticity of the results. For example, the researchers incorporated structural and naïve analysis to show how coherence and security of well-being are affected during the IHCA (in-house cardiac arrest). Sampling is one of the critical elements in the process of determining eligibility if a research question. Participants should be collected in diverse environments since it helps in comparing the results. The research article adhered to this rule. For instance, participants were identified from six hospitals across Sweden. What does it reflect? The sampling strategy addressed the issues of cardiac arrest in different ways. The researchers interviewed the survivors of cardiac arrest plus the families.
The objective of this review is to examine the congruence of the results. However, the article shows that only one woman was interviewed out of 17 (Bremer et al., 2018).
